
Overview
C2C is split into three categories: hike, hike & bike or bike only. Following the same route; participants start from Cairngorm Ski Centre car park and hike or bike to Queen’s Forest, then up to Loch Garten and Abernethy Reserve to Nethy Bridge before joining the Speyside Way to Grantown on Spey. From Grantown, the cyclist take the Dava Way to Forres and then a local Sustrans route to the finish in Lossiemouth.

Hike Only (34km)
Transport from Lossiemouth (7am) or Grantown (8.15am). You will depart Lossiemouth at 7am for the Cairngorm ski centre car park. Starting at 9am from Cairngorm, you will hike 34km to the Royal British Legion Scotland in Grantown on Spey, where you will receive your finishing medal and can enjoy a hot meal. (Age 10+)

Hike & Bike (34km/70km)
Transport from Lossiemouth (7am) or Grantown (8.15am) to Cairngorm Mountain car park. Starting at 9am, you’ll hike 34km to Grantown on Spey, where your bike and cycling kit will be waiting for you. There’s hot food and changing facilities and then it’s off up the Dava Way to start your 70km cycle to Lossiemouth to receive your finisher’s medal. (Ages 14+)

Bike Only (100km)
Transport from Lossiemouth (9am) or Grantown (8.15am) to Cairngorm Mountain car park for a staggered start from 11am. You’ll be cycling 34km through Queen’s Forest and Abernethy Nature Reserve to Nethy Bridge, then along Speyside Way to Grantown for hot food and refreshments, before the final 70km along Dava Way and NCN 1 to Lossiemouth for your finisher’s medal. (Age 14+)
