Challenge yourself for Outfit Moray
Each year, we purchase places in various local challenges such as; the Strathpuffer, Ride the North and Etape Loch Ness, and we’ve even had people do a tandem parachute jump, to raise vital funds for us. We also use our own skills and expertise to create our own fundraising events, such as local abseils, treks up Ben Nevis and our annual Cairngorm to Coast challenge.
We have places available in all the challenges below, but if there’s something else you have always wanted to do, get in touch and we can try and make it happen!
Winter Challenge (January)
Our winter challenge takes place in January each year and participants can choose to cycle, run, walk, paddle or wheel the equivalent distance of the NC50, NE250 or Moray Way (96 miles)
Strathpuffer (January)
If biking around forest tracks in the north of Scotland with freezing temperatures in the middle of January tickles your fancy, then the Strathpuffer is for you! We also train up and enter a youth team of high school pupils.
London Marathon (April)
We have London Marathon places for 2026-29, so if you have always wanted to take part in this historic, iconic event, now’s your chance!
Etape Loch Ness (April)
This 66 mile cycle sportive around Loch Ness is the perfect opportunity to get some monster spotting in!
Bealach-Beag Cycle Sportive (May)
Starting and finishing in Shieldaig, this popular 45-mile event takes place across the stunning Applecross peninsula, including the iconic 5-mile climb up the infamous Bealach na Ba.
Walk the Loch (May)
With three distances to choose from, this event provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Loch Leven Heritage Trail, with all its stunning views and birdlife spotting opportunities. A great family event.
Etape Caledonia (May)
Starting and finishing in the beautiful village of Pitlochry, this closed road sportive has three distances to choose from.
Moray Way Ultras (May, June, Aug & Nov)
The Moray Way Ultras are a series of races throughout the year, taking in the beautiful surroundings of the Moray, Dava and Speyside Ways.
10 Under the Ben (June)
10 Under the Ben is a 10 hour mountain biking endurance challenge in the stunning Nevis Range.
Dava Way Ghost Walk (June)
Test your nerve with this spooky 23 mile, overnight walk along the stunning Dava Way from Grantown to Forres.
Summer Challenge (July)
Our summer challenge takes place in July each year and participants can choose to cycle, run, walk, paddle or wheel the equivalent distance of the NC50, NE250 or Moray Way (96 miles)
Cairngorm to Coast (August)
Our very own 100km hike and bike challenge event from Cairngorm to Lossiemouth, through the stunning Cairngorm National Park.
Ride the North (August)
100 mile or 70 mile cycling challenge around quiet country roads of Aberdeenshire, Huntly or Fife.
Loch Ness 24 (August)
Take on the ultimate challenge with this 24hr solo or team relay trail running race on the banks of the world’s most famous Loch.
Banchory Beast Race (September)
BEAST yourself on an epic 10km obstacle course race over tough Scottish terrain.
Ben Nevis Trek (September)
We run annual treks up Ben Nevis along the Carn Mor Dearg Arete. This route takes in two munros and is definitely a bucket list item!
The Dramathon (October)
Like whisky, like running? The Dramathon is the perfect event for you!
Loch Ness Marathon (October)
With marathon and 10k distances, taking part in one of the UK’s most beautiful running festivals is on the ‘must do’ list for many people!
The Kiltwalk (various dates)
The Kiltwalk has events in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow with the added bonus of Sir Tom Hunter topping up all your fundraising by 50%!
