Who we are
Founded in 2003, Outfit Moray is an award winning charity and social enterprise delivering life-changing outdoor learning and adventure activity programmes to young people in Moray. We work with over 5,000 young people a year; building confidence, self-esteem and resilience, providing positive role models and encouraging the acquisition of life skills and new experiences through challenge and positive risk taking.

Vision
Outfit Moray aims to make a difference in the lives of others, by actively developing the potential of young people, their families and communities, through accessible and affordable outdoor learning and adventure; encouraging life skills and improving physical and mental health.

Mission
At Outfit Moray, we create sustainable, life-changing opportunities for young people through outdoor learning and adventure. By building confidence, resilience and essential life skills, we empower young people to reach their full potential. Our commitment to long-term sustainability ensures we can continue to support future generations and strengthen communities.

Values
We take a holistic approach to developing potential using outdoor learning and adventure: founded on the principles of charity, care and compassion, building trust, valuing courage, perseverance, patience and integrity.

Strands
Our work is broken down into ‘Strands’ which we use to distinguish betweeen the different programmes we deliver across our full delivery of activities.

Fair Work First
Outfit Moray are committed to ensuring there are fair working practices in place, promoting equality of opportunity and diversity in all areas of our work. We believe everyone is entitled to be treated fairly, and with dignity and respect, in relation to the Scottish Government’s Fair Work First policy and support the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)

Young Person’s Guarantee
We have been supporting young people into employment through our trainee and volunteer programme for years now, so were delighted to sign up to The Young Person’s Guarantee in September 2023.
The YPG brings employers, partners and young people together to help connect every 16 to 24 year old in Scotland to a job, apprenticeship, further or higher education, training or volunteering opportunity and we’re proud to be part of the scheme.

Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme
We are proud to have signed up to the The Armed Forces Covenant and pledge to support the armed forces, including existing or prospective employees who are members of our community.

Strategic Plan
Our 2025-29 strategic plan outlines our aims and objectives for the organisation.
