Belay Bear
‘Belay Bear’ came to us from School Bears and is our very adventurous mascot. He enjoys nothing better than heading out for outdoor activities with our groups, with his favourite being canoeing, as he gets to sit and enjoy watching the world go by. He always up for a challenge though and loves scaling new heights with the climbing groups and finding new places when he’s out biking, but he’s also happy to help out with archery practice or a bit of hide and seek during our bushcraft sessions, although he does prefer to just eat all the marshmallows!
Belay has become so popular, that he now has his own Facebook page and Instagram account, where you can follow his adventures and those of his clones’ who are spread far and wide; there’s even a Canadian clone! He’s a very busy bear, so there’s always lots to read about.
Belay is very keen to help with fundraising too, so he was only too delighted to be ‘cloned’ so other people could have their very own adventurous bear. Each ‘Belay’ is 17cms tall and costs just £10. They will be wearing his reversible Outfit Moray t-shirt but, if they are going out on adventures with you, you might want to get them a woolly hat to keep their ears warm!
To purchase your own Belay, and start your own bear adventures please visit our online shop, or you can pop into the office and collect in person.
Belay would love you to have a look at how you can help Outfit Moray and says there’s lots of ways you can support his favourite charity from donating clothing, taking on a challenge or buying a lucky number.
