  • Moray WheelersA all-inclusive group of cyclists of varying ages, meeting every Sunday morning for exercise, camaraderie, and scones.
  • Elgin Cycling Club Recreational and sporting cycling events, social activities for mountain bikers, road cyclists and racers (they also have a ladies group)
  • Forres Cycling Club Road races, time trials and grass track rides
  • Moray Mountain Bike Club Club rides every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm from Bishopmill Primary car park.
  • Elgin Breeze Group British Cycling led rides for women only

Mapping Tools

  • Cycle Streets Like google maps but specifically designed for cyclists. Enter your start point and your end point and see the fastest route, quietest route and a balanced route.
  • Cycle-Route A list of routes all across the country, including maps.
  • Map My Ride Also available: Map My Run and Map My Walk. Shows tried and tested routes and allows you to add your own. Can be used with a Garmin or linked to several other fitness accounts.
  • Strava Monitor your mileage, your elevation gain, calories burned and race others to be the fastest on strava segments. Can be used with a Garmin or has a useful app for smartphones.
