Walk the Loch
Created in 2025 by Chest Heart Stroke Scotland, Walk the Loch is a selection of beautiful walks routes around the Loch Leven Heritage Trail, taking you through woods and marshlands, as well as enjoying stunning lochside scenery and the opportunity to spot some of the loch’s renowned birdlife.
All three routes start and finish at Loch Leven’s Larder and are suitable for all ages and abilities. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on the lead.
You choose your route and we’ll book your place!

Accessibility: There may be some sections of the trail that are difficult for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and buggies to navigate. If you have any particular queries about the route please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
We will pay your entry fee, and you’ll get an Outfit Moray goody bag, plus lots of fuss and gratitude, in return for raising an agreed minimum sponsorship (varies depending on costs). We will also plant a tree in your name in our Trees for Life grove, to celebrate your support and achievement for generations to come. You can also purchase your own, fully branded, Outfit Moray cycling top to celebrate your participation.
Alternatively, you can chose to cover all the costs yourself, which will reduce your minimum sponsorship to £50.
Minimum Sponsorship: This type of fundraising brings in vital funds towards our unavoidable daily running costs such as rent, utilities, staff training, vehicle maintenance, IT support, tax, equipment and insurances, ensuring we are able to continue delivering our life-changing programme of outdoor learning and adventure opportunities for young people in Moray.
Whilst we appreciate just how tricky fundraising can be, we do incur costs for this type of fundraising including entry fees and admin time, so we do expect people to make every effort to raise their agreed minimum sponsorship, so we aren’t left out of pocket.
Please be aware that, if we haven’t received your minimum sponsorship within 3 months of the event, we would ask you to consider donating the shortfall yourself to make sure all our costs are covered.
