Outfit Moray’s Fundraising Portal
Welcome to Outfit Moray’s fundraising portal and thank you so much for supporting us. We completely understand that fundraising can be daunting, especially if you haven’t done it before and, even if you have, it’s sometimes tricky to come up with new and exciting ways, without having to ask the same people each time, so we’ve put together this page to hopefully make it a little easier for you (simplified version for printing here).
Have a look through the information here and check out some quirky fundraising ideas in our fundraising toolkit but remember, we’re always here to help, so don’t be afraid to give us a shout. Your success is our success, and we want to make the experience as pleasant as possible!

We set minimum sponsorship levels to make fundraising is viable, which is usually worked out by doubling any costs we incur. This amount varies, depending on the event, although there are exceptions; such as our Strathpuffer junior team.
However, we do appreciate fundraising can be daunting, so there is the option to pay your own entry fee, which brings your minimum fundraising target to just £50.
Anyone who takes part in a challenge for Outfit Moray receives a goody bag as a thank you, plus a certificate to show off your amazing efforts and you can also purchase your own, fully branded, Outfit Moray top to celebrate your participation.
The most popular and common way to raise the funds is simply to ask people to sponsor you, so you need to get your message out to as many people as possible. Don’t be scared to hit up your Facebook friends and email contacts, and remember to tell them what you are doing, when and who for.
Make it personal, as people are more likely to support your efforts if they know why it matters to you.
Keep sharing updates and remember, most people won’t sponsor you until they’ve seen your blood, sweat and tears, so make sure share photos of you taking part in your challenge, so everyone knows just how hard you worked to earn their donations!
Tag us in social media and we’ll share your posts too.

You can set up online fundraising to share with friends and family through GoFundMe and Just Giving and there’s also the option of Facebook or Instagram fundraisers, or you can keep it simple with a paper sponsorship form, which you can download here (or we can pop one in the post).
We have also created a thank you page on our website, where there are several testimonials you can share, plus a message from our CEO, Tony Brown (all of which you are welcome to copy and paste for sharing).
We have a YouTube channel where you can see videos of our work and hear about young people like Callum, who talks about the difference Outfit Moray adventure days made to him and you are welcome to take any photos from our Facebook page or website. You can also hear from our founder, Iain Jamieson, talking about how and why he set up Outfit Moray, way back in 2003.
If you have collected monies from an event, or via a sponsorship form, you can pay the money into your bank account and transfer it via digital banking, or via PayPal (friends & family). Please remember to send us your sponsorship forms, so we can claim Gift Aid which will add 25p to every £1 sponsored.
